Greetings
The CTO of my border city district is getting ready to present the idea to Administrators and later to Trustees that Open Source/ Linux represents not only major quantifiable savings in software licenses and overall costs, but also in terms of reliability the FOSS model is very desirable. The issue is that he is asking for specific K12 data to back up these assertions, so I am sending this SOS to see if you or your district have compiled or come accross any such info. Links, white papers, references are all welcomed.
