I just saw this. 

I haven't been using Ning this year in my own classes, but I have shown it to several other educators who are. I wonder what the future of Ning in education will be.

I'd like to know about this too. Perhaps the owner of this site could help us understand. I presume this site is a premium grade site, but maybe there is going to be an education version? Lots of us use Nings as part of our regular daily communication, and this would be very unfortunate.
