Each Atomic Catalyst six-week course includes a 1-hour weekly instructional webinar led by a highly-qualified facilitator, as well as online resources, collaborative discussions and facilitator feedback to help teachers build and apply new strategies and skills. Course Highlights:
This course is designed to take an in-depth look at how 21st Century teachers are employing Web 2.0 tools to enhance student 21st Century skills, such as communication & collaboration, creativity & innovation, and critical thinking. You will be reading and viewing the work of experts in the field while exploring various tools and techniques to use in the classroom.

Expectations:
In this course, participants will:

  • learn how to incorporate 21st Century skills in existing lessons.
  • exchange technology integration ideas.
  • have the opportunity to collaborate with peers.
  • earn 15 hours of continuing education.

The expected time commitment per week is 2-3 hours, which includes a weekly webinar each Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm CST.

Meet Your Instructor:
Susan Williams is a Professional Learning Designer at Atomic Learning, where she assists in the development and delivery of quality professional development. In her role, Williams works with educators around the world to establish and enhance professional development and tech integration programs. Williams is passionate about infusing technology into education as a lifelong learner and educator with over 20 years experience in education, including work as a high school teacher, technology training and professional development specialist. She is a graduate of Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) and Hamline University (St. Paul, MN). Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Education.
