MLK Jr. Day and Inauguration view from around the world

I am wondering if anyone from anywhere other than the US could give me a perception or impression of what these two days are like in other parts of the world? Is the inauguration on people's minds, are they talking about it? I feel like I am only seeing the American media perspective and I'd like a world view if possible.
