One of my upcoming freshman has her heart set on learning Italian. Does anyone know of any reasonable, effective online classes that I can check out? I have found a few, but am hoping for recommendations from people who have actually used them. I would prefer something that will give assessments of some sort as I don't speak Italian. She does have a mentor here who has agreed to meet her once a week for dialogue practice.
We are an extremely remote area with no colleges nearby, so that is not an option.
Thanks!
Michelle
