I recently came across a few long-standing blogs that never crossed my path during my Google searches, and I was thinking that a Classroom 2.0 discussion about blog-sharing might be helpful, since we are members of "the social network for educators using collaborative technologies".

If you have a blog you'd like to share, either your own, or one that you'd recommend, post a reply with a link to the blog, the author's name, the focus of the blog, and perhaps a few words about why you find it interesting or useful.

Update: Follow me on Twitter

Here are my blogs:

TechPsych
Interactive Multimedia Technology

I have another blog that I use to post my reflections about what I'm learning in my mid-life journey as a computer/tech student:
The World Is My Interface

(I changed the name of the blog to reflect my current topics.)

Update 7/24/09

It's been a while since I last visited Classroom 2.0. One of my schools is on a "year round" schedule, so we had Open House today. I can't believe the school year is starting once again! Because of the economic situation, we won't have enough school psychologists to go around, so I'll have another high school added to my schedule. It's a school for technology and the arts.

Does anyone know of professional blogs in the field of Social Studies Middle School for teachers to read? I am also looking for Middle School Social Studies Student Blogs to show as examples. Thank you.

Hello Judi,

Dan Klumper does a super job on his classroom site! If the link does not work, just search, "Water for Sixth Grade"

When I was teaching middle school in Egypt, we had our students discuss questions and reply via the blog. He is a member here also.

Best Wishes

Thanks for sharing! I haven't revisited this thread in a while. I started it in January of 2008 and it's exciting to see that it still is active at times!

I fixed the link:

I have already posted my blog once. Mine is probably a little different than most on here as my program is technical education. Any other technical education blogs? I have a question on my blog and I would love feedback. It is about accidental discoveries. Let me know if this has happened to you. Thanks, Donnie

I taught second grade, third grade, and Reading Recovery before choosing to stay home with my three children. Currently I tutor one third grader two times a week, volunteer at my children's school, and in my free time l look for ways to share simple ways to help children read. Check out my blog to see my research and take time to look at the Simply Box Sites entry. I have included some great websites with free interactive reading games. You may want to use Simply Box yourself to organize websites of your own and share publicly. http://beginningreadinghelp.blogspot.com

I also like Simply Box, and use it to store a lot of my favorite links. You can embed your links as slideshows on your blog. Here is an example...
