I'm reading a great article called Using the Lesson Study Approach to Plan for Student Learning by Lenski & Caskey. Last year, a group of us went to DePaul University in Chicago to get a "hands on-minds on" experience with Lesson Study. This year, the same group is currently involved in a Lesson Study for our district. Just curious to hear if anyone has any experience with Lesson Study and can share feedback, etc.

Dani,

For those who haven't walked in your footsteps, can you give us a quick summary of the approach and maybe the advantage?
