Hello colleagues. A friend of mine has decided to place his child in a HomeSchooling environment. Have any of you had experience with either the Keystone School online or the k12.com curriculum? I realize this is a bit strange as the majority of us are public school teachers, but I would like to be able to give him an educated answer. I will be working with him to also provide digital instruction. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Look for feedback from the homeschool parent associations. What's better than users giving feedback on what worked for them and why or why not!

Some examples (of many on the web):

Florida: http://www.fpea.com

Wisconsin: http://homeschooling-wpa.org

New Mexico (Christian parents): http://www.cape-nm.org/

Christian homeschool groups, many regional: http://www.creativeartsinaction.com/homeschoolassociations.htm
