Hi everyone,

I am a librarian/technology teacher/gifted teacher in a K-5 school. I am also a technology mentor in my building in charge of assisting teachers with technology. My district is moving toward greater integration of Chromebooks and Google Apps at all levels.  As a tech mentor I am working on my Google Educator certification and trying to think about how to use Google Apps at the elementary level. I would love to find a network of people using Google Apps at the elementary level who can share successes and failures. I see a lot of challenges specific to the elementary level and need some help thinking through ways to make this work for our youngest learners (and their teachers!).

Hello Katie

I have some ideas to help you for using google app in elementry level.

first tell me what google app you are able to use.

thanks..

At this point my district has all the basics open for the kids: Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Docs. They are also giving us some freedom for using others as we wish. I'm not anxious to use Gmail with my kids but I'd be interested to hear what other things you have used and what works!  I know there are some great apps out there but I'm not sure what is best for elementary kids.

Welcometo the network Katie!

Thanks! I am excited to see what I can learn!

You can try at the Google Play Store to get more suggestions.
