I have borrowed several laptops for a pre k group and I am looking for ways to introduce them to the computer. I have an old computer from the "graveyard" that we can take apart, and I thought we would explore computers as a means of communication. If anyone has ideas, I could use some direction! Thanks!

Kids love to Skype. I am sure you could find a parent who would call in. Its free (with camera).

There are a lot of games online that help kids learn the keyboard and mouse. Obviously a lot depends on their language skills and motor development.
Thanks! I've never used Skype (embarrassing!) 'bout time I did! I contacted one of our students- she moved to Austria last month- and they will be calling.
