I need help with Google Earth.....Please give me detailed instructions on how to go under the ocean. What layers and options need to be checked? I have tried and have not been able to make it work! Thanks!

Make sure the 'Ocean' layer is checked, as well as, the 'Terrain' layer. If you try and fly straight down into the ocean from above, you just get a blue blur. I have much more success when I change the view to make it look like I'm floating on the water with a view of the horizon. Then, I plunge down beneath the surface and can actually see the underwater formations, etc.

I hope that's helpful,
Justin
Also, make sure you have the latest version of Google Earth. The older ones do not have Ocean. You may also want to give one of the ocean tours from the Google Earth site a try. They give you a path to follow and can help you understand how the ocean layer works.
