I recently learned how to make a Google Docs survey. When I first heard about making an online survey, I thought "that seems too complicated, i'd rather not." Turns out it wasn't as hard as I thought. I did my survey on adoption. I asked four simple questions and then posted on facebook. Something I found out (and a little too late) is that you need to set your questions to "required" unless you don't mind people not answering them. I forgot and a lot of people did not specify whether or not they were male or female and that was vital information that I was after. Overall, it was a really fun experience. For practice, it was a bit hard to spontaneously come up with a cool survey that is actually useful but I can see it being really great when you need statistics or information from a wide variety of people groups/ages/gender. It's fast and easy and even fun!
