Global Project - How Does Where You Live Affect How You Live?

I would love to connect with classrooms around the world on a project studying how where we live effects how we live. I did a project similar to this as a 2nd grade classroom teacher last school year, and have now moved on to a position where I work with several districts helping them to integrate technology. I have been asked to help locate classrooms around the globe interested in collaborative projects. We are looking to collaborate using Elluminate as a platform for real-time communication and sharing of ideas, and then use a wiki or a blog to share information as the project progresses.

Here is a link to the project my school did last year - it would be amazing to take this a step further and actually communicate with schools around the world to answer the guiding question. If you are interested in this project, contact me at kim.jurczak@prometheanworld.com. We have classrooms from grades K-12 that would be interested in participating, so any age is welcome!
