This year, teacher quality is dominating the national conversation and video portfolios have just been mandated in 6 states. Conversations are beginning to happen in 20+ states.  In order for "pre-service" teachers to receive teacher certifications they are being required to submit a video of themselves to be evaluated. Many universities and colleges are beginning to have the conversations of how their individual institution is going to guide their candidates in completing the video portion of the assessment.  Is there anyone who can provide some feedback of how they approached this evaluation? From the type of equipment they used? How the video is stored?  Legal and liability issues with the schools and school districts? Any feedback, resources or ideas or even open discussion about the Teacher Performance Assessment would be appreciated.
