Hello all,
I am a (first year!) first grade teacher.  I want to have "Fairy Tale February" for my students.  We will explore fairy tales in their traditional forms vs non-traditional re-tellings (Example: The True Story of the Three Little Pigs from the wolf's point of view).  We will also explore different culture's stories (Lon Po Po, the Chinese version of Little Red Riding Hood).

My question to all of you is:  What are some online resources that I could use for this unit?
Do you know of a website that has animated books/movies/games/activities that relates to this?
Or, if you just have a brilliant idea or book that you would like to share, feel free!

This unit will culminate with all the students dressing up as their favorite fairy tale character.  I'm pretty excited!

PS... Next is "Mystery March" which will focus on detective books.  Any ideas in advance would be appreciated!
