Greetings fellow Teachers,
I have started a global educational project called "Face it-Trace it-Erase it." You can see some of our work at:
http://gceafghanistan.ning.com/forum/topics/how-to-do-face-it-trace...
I am looking for teachers in all disciplines to join in. I am working with some assistance from the state department. My email is streljg@d11.org.
In this project students "FACE-IT" which means the define and describe the issue (there are 50 issues to choose from). Then they TRACE-IT, which means the look at the history of the issue, whethers its pollution, disease, corruption, etc. Then they "ERASE-IT". This is where they present viable solutions. This project is good for a science, math, Language Arts, Social studies, an elective, whatever. It is applicable to all subjects because there are so many issues and so many ways of going about it. I am matching students and teachers up with others around the world. Please let me know if you would like more information. Thank you for your time. Jack Strelec
