I particularly use some blogs which consider of great interest , depending of course on the grade and level of your students.
I also use some tools like Voicethread and www.prezi.com
Hi Ddeubel,
I love www.breakingnewsenglish.com and I use it quite frequently.
One of my favourites is www.talent.co.uk if you are looking for ESOL/EFL materials and www.onestopenglish.com for resources, forums, etc.

I have a blog and website dedicated to teachers of ELLs. Every resource listed is free. The blog has had to date over 7,000 visitors (TEACHING SUCCESSES WITH ELL). If you subscribe, you will have immediate access to every link and comment I post (I try to post daily). Readers from over 70 countries have visited so far.
I also have a website (ELL TEACHER PROS) with an international readership as well. To date over 2 years, I have had over 33000 page views and 28, 000 visitors. All the sites are free. There is also a monthly newsletter on an awesome site and detailed comments on how it could be used in class. You can also access my archive for past newsletters, but only subscribers will receive new newsletters on the first of month.
Lastly, you can follow ELL TEACHER PROS on FACEBOOK. Please note that there are no duplicate sites on the three sources. Why not be a follower here as well:)

Please consider this link to a free resource for American & English spelling practice.
Launched in November 2011 already over 1300 schools have downloaded the free digital resource pack.
