Have you been to an edcamp unconference yet?  An edcamp is a democratic, participant-driven professional development for teachers. Basically the attendees of the unconference decide which sessions to hold and fully participate in the delivery and discussion during a workshop.  Every edcamp is run a little different.  I am part of a team from Portland, Oregon that is hosting our 2nd edcamp next Friday, November 11th from 8:30am - 3:30pm at La Salle Prep high school.  Check out the proposed sessions at http://edcamppdx.wikispaces.com/SESSIONS and join us if you live in the NW.
