Collaborative Story Project
Looking for classes (grade 2 or ages 7-9) to participate in writing a progressive story. It will be done through shared writing and the stories will grow as they are passed from class to class. In the end, we will have complete stories and a VoicThread to illustrate it. Check it out here: http://writeyourstory.wikispaces.com/

We're organizing similar projects (using comics) on this ning:
http://comicsinternational.ning.com/When you pass a comic from artist to artist and each person adds a new panel, it's called a "Comics Jam"... You can get some great results as each new artist has to incorporate and add to the artwork and text that has come before.
If you have teachers (& classes) interested in combining words and graphics, send them on over!
