I'm starting a unit on non-fiction writing with my 9th graders and wanted to know of any suggestions of great blogs out there that kids might be interested in reading. It would be nice if the blogs were well-written as well.

I teach gifted kids and we have an active blog. My kids are younger but some of them are good writers. Start at Recent Posts, your students might be tickled at what the kids are writing about. Clara is a radical and green-nik, Rachel goes to a conservative Christian school, Alex writes about Science. Enjoy!
