I have been blogging with my students both as a class and individually for a few years. For the last two the classroom blog has become the focus for weekly thinking questions. Each week there is new questions relating to a philosophical idea, for example memories, dreams, creativity, etc. The questions usually link to a short video related to the theme that promotes discussion and ideas. This has run successfully for a couple of years now. My new focus is to expand the Web2.0 environment by involving other classrooms in the same content and promoting commenting and communication. In order to do this I have created a separate blog:

It has only a couple of links so far and there are now two classrooms involved. I am hoping to include teachers as users so that they may include new content and add classrooms as links so that we can expand this thinking community.
In Australia we are in recess for holidays however I would love to her from other teachers interested in participating. You could try a couple of the questions and there are many more questions at my classroom blog, in the thinking category:
