Australia or New Zealand -- High School Environmental Collaboration?

Hi all!

I hope this is the appropriate place to make such a request. I am a technology coach in York, PA. A super science teacher in my building would like to collaborate with a class in Australia or New Zealand to compare environmental data and analysis. We are hoping to use Skype, video-conferencing, Google docs, email....whatever tools make the most sense for the project. We are hoping to set up an authentic and rigorous collaboration for students ages 15-17.

If anyone in the Classroom 2.0 community has any leads on possible matches for this collaboration, please let me know. Thanks!

I went to Australia to study abroad last semester and went to a college/uni called Griffith Uni. in the gold coast. There was a high school located right near campus and they may be interested in doing this. I will find out the name for you and get back to you. I think this is a great idea!

ok, there are two schools. You could probably use either one of these....the one that I think sounds the most useful is called Queensland Acadamy for Health Sciences. Another is called Aquinas. Hope this is useful! Please share how everything goes!
Thanks, Julie!! I will contact them and let you know how it goes. I really appreciate the lead.
