Can anyone help me with video compression? I would appreciate some advice on which software is available for Macs.

Hi Brian,

I do a bit of video compression on the Mac and mostly use Quicktime Pro. It allows you to export a video to all the major formats. You can tweek the screen size, frame rate, picture quality and audio quality. I haven't yet run into the need to use any other video compression software. If you need any help, feel free to contact me.

Hi Andrew...
Thanks for your help! I have a movie of about 24 gig (uncompressed). Will that squeeze on to a DVD disc?
I use Videowave for converting video to DVD on an IBM.
