I found this on BoingBoing this morning, and it's worth the 10 minute viewing. According to the post, " Bucknell prof Eric Faden has produced the most amazing video mashup I've ever seen: "A Fair(y) Use Tale" cuts together thousands of extremely short clips from dozens of Disney cartoons, lifting indivudal words and short phrases to spell out an articulate, funny, and thoroughly educational lesson on how copyright works."

The YouTube version can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJn_jC4FNDo

You can also download the file from Standford's Fair Use Project site: http://cyberlaw.stanford.edu/documentary-film-program/film/a-fair-y...

Thanks so much, Brian, for bringing Stanford's Fair Use Project and this edutaining video to our attention. I can see it being used to explain restrictions on use of others' creations to students. It is an entirely appropriate lesson in respect for others' rights, but at the same time opens the door for restoring a more reasonable expansion of "fair use." --Skip
