I am writing a paper about how things will be in five years- professional practice and learning technologies.

What are YOUR thoughts about developing hardware, software and technical resources.

How will our roles and responsibilites as teachers change?

What are some ideas that will inpact our practices?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You should explore augmented learning environments - surely virtual learning objects (on direct manipulation surface/whiteboards) will find their way into the classroom to some extent over the next 5 years... Might explore our project here - http://edusim3d.com ... The first of which, sure more will follow in the K-12 classroom .... More on 3D CAVE environments in general here -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_Automatic_Virtual_Environment
