You should explore augmented learning environments - surely virtual learning objects (on direct manipulation surface/whiteboards) will find their way into the classroom to some extent over the next 5 years... Might explore our project here - http://edusim3d.com ... The first of which, sure more will follow in the K-12 classroom ....
