Do any of you use Foldables with your students? I've created a Foldable wiki for teachers to share ideas for using Foldables across the curriculum. If you'd like to join, go to

Hope to see you there!

Hi- I am a 5th grade teacher and I have been using foldables, but didn't know that is what we call them! I use a different type of foldable little book quite often. Some examples:pocket books for field trips (they fit right inside a pocket of their jeans...give them a golf pencil and they're all set!), little books of geometry terms and illustrations, study guides etc. As always these ideas are adopted and refined. A great conference presenter shared the idea of using the small cereal boxes as holders for the little books. Students seem to enjoy the folding process and are eager to make and complete these projects. Enjoy- Stephanie
