Does anyone have a suggestion on where I can get good quality Moodle hosting? I've never used Moodle before but want to give it a shot. I have my class website being hosted by a very reliable hosting company but they have never heard of Moodle so I don't feel confident in installing it on their server. Also, the only comprehensive directions I found online for installing Moodle assumed that my web host company uses cPanel but it does not.

Any advice or suggestions on where or how to host Moodle would be greatly apreciated. Has anyone used ClassroomRevolution.com? They cost about $100 a year but I would prefer some place that charges by the month in case Moodle does not turn out to be super useful.

Thanks for any and all help! :)

I use Site 5 for hosting and have 2 seperate moodles there. If you have any questions abotu moodle let me know. I also offer installation services via my web design firm - Create Sean Web Design.

Jack:

We use remote-learner.com. You pay a bit more--but they are pros with hosting moodle sites and give superb support. They have bailed me out many times. It really takes the stress out of your installation if you have 20+ teachers with courses.

Here is a thread I posted a while ago... there were some free Moodle hosting options and several other free hosted LMS solutions that had great features.

Before settling on an LMS give the four best a poke and see which one fits you best.

Thank you! I read parts of your thread and discovered that Ninehub actually has a working site at MyClass.org.au as opposed to Ninehub.com which appears to be working but did not work for me in creating a site.

MyClass.org.au created a free Moodle site for me that is on Ninehub.com. I'm not sure why that is but am glad to have a chance to finally experiment with Moodle.
