Any idea how the mapping was done on this site?

I did not find the map under gadgets.
Also, how is the new CHAT TOOL??

You can also use http://feedjit.com to map the people who visit your site.

With the above mentioned site all you do is add your location to your profile. Really cool and simple for the users/students.

Look at this page:

you can upload a feed file to Google Map and then embed Google Maps into your site.
