I am working on a project where we are looking to begin podcasts to support educators in their professional development on a variety of topics.

Are there any links to current projects that anyone has (or other information) that would give me a sense for what people are doing, and what some of the best practices would be?

These include both audio and video. Some folks used preso's from K12 Online as PD and viewed them together as a staff, and discussed.
Here's a short video I put together with clips of different school uses of podcasting:

The first few are PD and the others are instructional.

The T4 site is a great place to see more.
