I am setting up 2 "model" 5th grade classrooms. I'd like to create a movable learning space where the furniture will accommodate activity centers. Has anyone set up a new classroom lately with this in mind?

No ideas sorry. But you could have a lot of fun giving them some lego and asking them to design a space themeslves. Been done before. http://csalt.lancs.ac.uk/odonoghue/futureschool/ has some stuff on this.
