How important is sharing? Where might you/we share?

I will be delivering a presentation to technology resource teachers in Virginia this July (2008). I have already posted a blog entry as the beginning of a virtual handout for this presentation.

I'm interested in some feedback.

1. How important is it to share your experiences with using various technologies in the classroom?
2. Where do you find the most effective places to share are, if you are sharing?

Obviously, Classroom 2.0 is a great sharing space. But I'm looking for something that might be more local, or more accessible in some school environments. Thanks in advance for your responses!
