WiZiQ's free Live Class modules for Moodle are now live.

Moodle users can start an “activity” from within Moodle to schedule, and activate a “block” to launch sessions in

WiZiQ’s virtual classroom. Detailed instructions for installation are available here with video tutorials:
http://www.wiziq.com/downloads/moodle/

Information on the activity module is also available on Moodle here:

http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=13&rid=1113

Moodle administrators or webmasters need to install these modules on the server for teachers and students.

We have Moodle 1.8.2 running on a Macintosh Intel Server. After installation of the wiziq and wiziqlive we are getting the following showing under Notifications...
"Module wiziqlive: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/moodle18/mod/wiziqlive/version.php was not readable"

Our specs: php 5.1.6, mysql 5.0.10, Moodle running with basic MAMP install.

Thanks for any suggestions....
Sorry, I'm up and running after I discovered that I had copied the wiziqlive file into both mod and block directories.. DUH!!! Now I can move on to testing the plug-in.
Hi Jaqdeep,

our company has math tools for Moodle that could combine very well with WizIQ. You can test them at www.wiris.com/demo-moodle/

In particular you can test a mathematical chat solution.
Thanks Ramon. I will check it out.
