Event Description

Explore accessible, digital learning options that excite and engage all learners. Learn where to find accessible digital content and how to use it for learning.

The National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI) and WGBH/National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) will team up to present this workshop to practitioners and developers who are ready to take their digital content to the next level of accessibility for all students. Register now!

Abstract: Digital learning options are expanding at lightening speed. Learners increasingly utilize rich libraries of digital content within class and for assignments, and organize their learning by creating content themselves, using a variety of platforms to do so, including mobile personal devices. However, digital libraries, learning platforms and mobile devices are often lacking in accessibility features and most general practitioners do not know where to find or how to check accessibility features.
